Introduction to our accounting system (English)

This is an introduction to our accounting system for users that prefer an English guide.

What we can help you with

Our accounting system is a cloud-based accounting solution, tailored to the needs of small businesses. You can invoice customers, do your accounting, pay bills, and pay salaries to employees. We also give you the tools you need for reporting to the relevant authorities on Value Added Tax (“Mva”), salary tax, and employer’s contribution (“AGA”).

How to create an account

1. Go to https://go.lucaregnskap.no/signup
2. Enter your e-mail address in the field “E-post”
3. Enter your full name in the field “Fullt navn”
4. Create a new password in the field “Passord”
5. Click “Registrer gratis!”

We will now send you an e-mail, which you will need to verify in order to finish creating your account. After verifying your e-mail, you will be asked to register your company: search for it by name or organisation number under “Din bedrift”, and we fetch the rest from the Norwegian company register (Brønnøysundregistrene). Don’t have a company yet, or want to try us out first? Click “sette opp et testselskap” to set up a test company instead, and register your real company later.

Change user language to English

After you’ve created a user account and have a company registered, you can change the user language in the settings from Norwegian to English. See our step-by-step guide here.

Trial period and subscription

All companies get a free trial period of 30 days!

Once the trial period has ended, activate your account in order to continue using our accounting system. This can be done by clicking “Activate” on “My subscriptions” in the settings. The same page shows how many days are left of your trial, and lists the optional modules, such as salary or projects, under “Add modules”. You can try every module for free until the trial ends.
